I’m just beginning the program again for a third go round, and each time I deepen my understanding of the wisdom Ariella has shared.
This program opened so many doors for me. I am now at the Spikenard Honeybee Sanctuary, and i’m currently the caretaker, which is so lovely. Although i’ve learned so much here, I still refer back to Ariella's work as it was the foundation of my learning!

Being part of Ariella's online beekeeping apprenticeship will forever be a treasured experience. Through times of change, uncertainty and joy, this course was a constant companion. The generosity of Ariella's teaching is full of deeply rich material on bee centered beekeeping that she beautifully weaves together with myth, story and ritual, helping us to remember--beekeeper or not-- how much healing can take place from tending to a relationship with the honeybee and the natural world. The women I met on this course will forever be close to my heart, and I will be eternally grateful for Ariella's gift of holding us all with so much care and tenderness.

The Women's Beekeeping Apprenticeship changed my life in many ways: I was introduced to an incredible group of new friends, developed a meaningful relationship with the bees, deepened my relationship with nature, and learned about my own capacity for healing and connection with the land and beings all around me. Ariella is a brilliant and inspiring teacher. She has a deep grasp of folklore, the pollen ways, beekeeping, and history. She has the ability to create a safe, ceremonial, and meaningful learning environment for her students both in-person and online. The spiritual practices and folk traditions I learned in the course have become touchstones of my own exploration of the old ways and have guided me to a greater knowing of my own power, ancestry, and connection to the long line of healers and nature tenders of these traditions.

I am beyond impressed with Ariella’s ability to hold and transfer such deep wombic/intuitive knowing in a cognitive centered world. She answers to, and offers forward both with such grace.

I've learnt so much about bees in this program, and through this knowledge my love for them grew even more. I had a strongly established bee spirituality, and all the practices we've done deepened the connection and opened me more to myself, my inertial garden and the spirit world. I'm truly grateful for all those experiences.

My experience with the online beekeeping apprenticeship can be best described as a beautiful mixing of the magical and the mundane. The time I have spent participating in this experience has helped me deepen in my ability to not only trust what I am hearing, perceiving and dreaming with the bees but to bring these more etheric threads into the everyday, weaving a web of the quotidian mystery. For example, early in the beginning of the course I had a dream that I gave birth to a swarm of bees. The texture of this dream felt like an invitation of what was to come. If not for this course I wouldn’t have felt equipped to hold onto this dream thread and to follow its weave. However, because the course supported the wisdom of dreams AND went in depth with preparations such as different hive styles, how to actually gather a swarm and the equipment needed, I was able to prepare in the physical for what I received in the dream time. I felt prepared and excited and lo and behold, I gathered my first swarm and have been developing in relationship with them since May!
The space that Ariella holds is potent and her knowledge and wisdom is deep. My connection with the land in which I reside has developed as well given the practices taught and experienced. I have slowed down to feel, taste, see and perceive the lands voice and interconnection to all.

I was fearful about being in a woman-centric space, to be honest. My relationship with my gender is complex (as a somewhat nonbinary leaning feminine person, assigned female at birth) with a very, very poor relationship with my own mother. I am childfree by choice. I anticipated the discussions of wombs/childbearing/motherhood would be difficult. That said, I found this was not much of an issue. My initial discomfort was allayed by an inclusive-feeling space (meaning, inclusive of many feminine experiences) and my relationship to mothering/womb showed up as nurturing and listening. I am glad to have gone through that evolution.

My intentions for Ariella's Women's Beekeeping Mentorship Program this past year have truly been fulfilled and beyond. For six years I've been beekeeping using Langstroth hives and though I've taken classes to learn techniques and approaches to keeping bees over the years, I've struggled with colony loss year after year and managing them throughout the winter months. The past 10 months I've completely transformed the way I keep bees through Ariella's teachings, wisdom and reading suggestions. I'm delighted to share that it's late October and I've never had a healthier, more robust hive heading into late autumn like I have currently. I'm now listening and observing with all my senses (including my dreams) and have converted to a Top Bar hive configuration which has revolutionized the way I will keep bees moving forward.
Beyond the practical techniques and understandings of how to keep bees, the curriculum is imbued with ancient, shamanic and mystical knowledge that was the sweetest nectar for my remembering soul. Ariella, like a honeybee herself, exquisitely weaves the coursework between the mundane and magickal information within a collective of sisterhood that felt like a homecoming and was honey for my heart.

I recognized something in her (Ariella's) way of being and speaking that sparked a remembrance of part of my own spirit.

Ariella has a unique ability to bring together the like-minded - you don't realize she's done it until you're chatting away with strangers who feel like friends, bonding over your deepest dreams. She's very much a matriarch in this way, as anyone who understands the quiet power of a true queen bee would agree. The space that Ariella holds is potent and her knowledge and wisdom is deep. My connection with the land in which I reside has developed as well given the practices taught and experienced. I have slowed down to feel, taste, see and perceive the lands voice and interconnection to all.

As an herbalist I've come to believe that the root of disharmonies in the physical body manifest first as a disharmony in the subtle body at the spiritual and emotional level. What I find special about Ariella's work is that she guides you towards the ability to further tap into your own intuition so you can gain tools to continue to connect with your own spirit, your deep self, all while connecting very deeply with the beautiful and mystical subtleties of the natural world. - Katie B.
Ariella is welcoming, kind, engaging, sensitive, inspiring, and generous with her wisdom and knowledge about beekeeping, dreamwork, and history. I have learned so much from her beekeeping classes, from the foundational techniques and knowledge to the more detailed aspects of natural beekeeping, as well as dreamwork and seasonal practices to feel connected not only to myself, but to the earth in a deep and meaningful remembering. In every class, I have felt seen and heard, as Ariella holds space for each person, perspective, and experience within the whole. Her beekeeping courses have stayed with me and inspire how I approach connecting with the land and with the bees.

The beekeeping mentorship has profoundly altered my relationship with nature, particularly with bees, and has sparked a deep personal transformation. I've moved from observing nature to actively participating in its balance.

This program has nourished my art in ways I couldn't imagine. It's a beekeeping apprenticeship and so much more! It has changed me as a person - I am more myself than I have ever been before, deeply nourished on soul level, connected with place and my place in the world. The way Ariella teaches has been healing and transformative in non-linear and very effective ways. It brought healing and change in the areas of my life where it was most needed.

This is the second of two classes I have had the privilege of taking with Ariella Daly. Both have been outstanding. If you are interested in beekeeping and want to do it in a kinder, gentler, more natural way; ‘Tending the Sacred Hive’ is the class for you. Ariella is amazing and her wealth of knowledge about bee-centric beekeeping and Bee Shamanism is outstanding. I cannot recommend this program enough nor can I do it justice. My life has changed in very personal and inexplicable ways on so many levels. I am deeply grateful to Ariella for the wealth of information she has imparted to us and her graciousness in allowing us to have continual access to our course information so that I can take it all again and refer back to when I have a hive of my own!

To me Ariella brings tremendous beauty and wisdom to the art of beekeeping and so much more. This course is exquisite and is still being carefully curated and added upon. It is a living and breathing body of work that Ariella is still constantly working on. I feel that that is one of the greatest gifts because if you are like me you would want a teacher who constantly evolves her work. Ariella is such a teacher- kind, fierce, wise all rolled into one who teaches the beauty of Bee Wisdom.
Ariella is such a gift in my life, I can't thank her enough for being a safe space for me to land last year.
This healed cracks that were not addressed for a long time.
